Hey there, sweet tooths. Your day feeling a little drab without that sugar hit? Want to finish off your dinner with a little extra something? We’ve got you covered.
Brownies have grown into an unparalleled obsession these days. How can it not? They are the perfect combination of taste and texture. The chocolate and vanilla take us to heaven and back and the fudgy texture feels simply beautiful.
However, cooking brownies is a delicate art. Getting the right quantities and the right combination of flavours is crucial.
And then comes the baking part. Traditional brownies are baked in a conventional oven. The procedure includes the oven to be preheated in the right temperature for the right amount of time before baking. One misstep could leave your dessert either too gooey or too hard.
Yes, that does sound like a lot of hassle. Luckily, our talented collaborator and notable chef, Rinki Sarkar, popularly known as Sailor Chef in social media, has curated an easy and quick recipe to bake a mug brownie using a microwave.
This recipe is completely vegan, dairy-free, egg-free and refined sugar-free. It’s super easy to throw together in just two minutes.
So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive in!

A : Do not use plastic or metal mugs or containers. Use a ceramic or paper cup.
Q : Can this recipe be used in a conventional oven?
A : This recipe works best in a microwave but conventional oven can also be used. Set the temperature to 180C for moist and fudgy texture and bake for 10 minutes.
Q : How do I know if the brownie is properly cooked?
A : Insert a toothpick to check the consistency of the brownie. If the batter sticks to the toothpick, the brownie is gooey. If not, it is spongy and cakelike.
